Many people are carrying around a burden that they would rather not think about: the burden of the sins they have committed.  What is God's answer to this problem?  What can we do so that we can finally leave this behind us?   

If the forgiveness of your sins somehow depended on your good deeds you could never know when you have done enough of the right things.  God doesn't want you to live with this kind of insecurity.  He has provided a way for you to be forgiven and to know it 100%. 

If you believe that Jesus never committed any sins and that by giving His own life on the cross in your place He opened the way to heaven for you, you will be forgiven.  Your part is to trust in His goodness, His righteousness, not your own.  When you accept the forgiveness that God gives you through Jesus, God does something amazing in your heart by the Holy Spirit and you become born again.  Because you are trusting in the righteousness of Jesus the Messiah, you do not have to wonder whether His righteousness will be accepted by God.  In fact, His righteousness is made your righteousness!
